World of Fairy Tales”) в рамках недели иностранного языка в школе.

Аннотация
Внеклассное мероприятие «Мир сказок» предназначено для учащихся 2-6 классов.
Главная цель мероприятия - мотивация учащихся к чтению на английском и русском
языках,
развитие
интереса
учащихся
к
чтению
зарубежной
литературы.
В
данной
разработке представлены сценарии двух постановок “The Turnip” (Репка), “ The house in
the wood” (Теремок);
Мероприятие проходит в форме спектаклей двух сказок: “The Turnip” (Репка), “ The
house in the wood” (Теремок);
Лексика, используемая в постановках знакома учащимся, поэтому действующие
лица
не
испытывают
трудности
при
заучивании
текста,
а
зрители
(одноклассники
и
учащиеся параллельного и младших классов) – при его понимании. Продолжительность
постановки “The Turnip”, “ The house in the wood ” – по 10 минут.
Цель: развитие интереса учащихся к чтению зарубежной и родной литературы; обобщение
и систематизация ранее изученного лексикого материала.

у
учащихся
потребности
и
способности к сотрудничеству.
Оснащение:
аудиозапись песни, реквизиты, декорации, маски и костюмы персонажей,
фанерный домик.

II. Follow –up. Основной этап.

Театрализованная постановка сказки “The Turnip”.
III Rounding-off.
Заключительный этап. Подведение итогов. Рефлексия деятельности и
эмоционального самочувствия по итогам мероприятия.
Ход мероприятия:
I. Warming-up.
Teacher: Good afternoon, dear friends! Welcome to the world of fairy tales. I am glad to see
you. Our festival is related to the Russian and English tales. When I was a child I liked to read
Russian tales a lot and now I enjoy reading English tales, stories too. Do you like reading fairy-
tales?
Student 1: Yes, I do.
Teacher: What’s your favourite one?
Student 1: “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” by Rowling J.K.
Teacher: And what about yours?
Student 2: I like “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” but my favourite is “The Sleeping Beauty
in the Wood”
Teacher: Why do you read fairy-tales or stories?
Student 3: I think it’s very instructive because they teach life.
Teacher: Yes, that’s right! Reading tales is useful, valuable because they expand our outlook,
develop speech, imagination and moral values. As for reading English tales or stories, it will help
you increase your vocabulary and improve your English. So, during our festival you will listen,
read, watch and talk about Russian tales, also you will present plays. Today you will be
spectators, actors, singers, participants of our festival. Are you ready? Let’s start.
II. Follow –up. Основной этап.
Teacher: Please look at the interactive whiteboard. What do you see?
Student 4: The pictures of the tales.
Teacher: Guess the title of the fairy tale, please.
Student 5: I think it’s “Teremok”.
Teacher: You’re right. Well done! “The House in the Wood” or “Teremok”. And now you will
see the play “Teremok”.

(A house in the wood. The Mouse comes up to the house. The Frog is at the window.)
Narrator: Here is a house in the wood.
A mouse is running through the wood.
She stops at the door.
She asks at the door.
The Mouse: Who lives in this house?
The Frog: I do. I’m a green frog. My name is …. I’m not big. I can swim and dive (делает
плавательное движение). I live in this house! It is my house. And who are you?
The Mouse: I’m a grey mouse. My name is Mary. I’m little and slim. I can walk and skip
(прыгает со скакалками). I live in the forest. I haven’t got a house. May I live in your house?
The Frog: Yes, you may. Come in, please!
Narrator: Here is a house in the wood.
A hare is running through the wood.
He stops at the door.
He asks at the door.
The Hare: Oh, what a nice house! Who lives in this house?
The Frog and the Mouse (together): We do.
The Frog: I’m a green frog. My name is …. I’m not big. I can swim and dive (делает
плавательное движение).
The Mouse: I’m a grey mouse. My name is Mary. I’m little and slim. I can walk and skip
(прыгает со скакалками).
Together: And who are you?
The Hare: I’m a grey hare. My name is Alex. I’m not brave and shy. I can jump (подпрыгивает)
but I cannot fly. I live in the forest. I haven’t got a house. I haven’t got a friend May I live in
your house?
The Frog and the Mouse (together): Yes, you may. Come in please!
Narrator: Here is a house in the wood.
A fox is running through the wood.
She stops at the door.
She asks at the door.
The Fox: Oh, what a nice house! Who lives in this house?
The Frog, the Mouse and the Hare: We do.

(напевает). I live in the forest. I haven’t got a house. I haven’t got a friend. May I live with you?
The Frog, the Mouse, the Hare and the Fox, the Wolf: Yes, you may. Come in please. Let’s live
together! We are your friends and you are our friend!
The bear: Thank you!
(Все выходят на середину сцены, водят хоровод и поют, включается аудиозапись песни
“The More We Get Together..”)
The mouse, the frog, the hare, the wolf and the bear:
The more we are together, together, together,
The more we are together,
The happier we are.
For my friend is your friend
And your friend is my friend
The more we are together,
The happier we are. (затем все кланяются и уходят)

Teacher: Here are two pictures of the Russian folk tale. Please guess the title of this tale.
Student 7: Is it “The Turnip?”
Teacher: Yes, it’s true. How clever of you! Now let’s see the play “The Turnip”.

Grandfather: Oh, what a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden. I want to pull it out. (Pulls the
turnip.) One, two, three! It is too big for me. Granny, come here! Help me, please!
Grandmother: All right, Grandfather. I'm coming.
Grandfather and Grandmother (pulling together): One, two, three! ... One, two, three! (No
result.) Oh, it's too big for us!
Grandmother: Granddaughter, Granddaughter, help us, please!
Granddaughter: All right, Granny. I'm coming.
Grandfather, Grandmother and Granddaughter (pulling together): One, two, three! ... One, two,
three! ... One, two, three! (No result.) Oh, it's too big for us!
Granddaughter: Dog, Dog, help us, please!
The Dog: All right, Granddaughter. I'm coming.

The Turnip (standing up): Here I am!
All (together): Oh! What a big turnip we have!

Teacher: What fairy tales is the festival devoted to?

Teacher: Right! What are their characters?
Student 3: The mouse, the frog, the hare, the fox, the wolf, the bear.
Student 4: The turnip, the grandfather, the grandmother, the granddaughter, the dog, the cat.
Teacher: It’s true! Our festival is going to be over. Take the cards and answer the question.
Which of these characters would you like to be and why? Today everybody has worked very
