Открытый урок английского языка в 5-ом классе

Учебник авторов: И.Н. Верещагина, О.В. Афанасьева

1.Тема: «How to Keep Fit» - «Как быть в хорошей форме – быть здоровым»

2. Тип урока – Урок практического применения знаний

3. Технология – Развивающего обучения, традиционная, с элементами ком-

муникативного обучения.

4. Задачи: а). Развитие навыков устной речи по теме,

б). Развитие навыка диалогической речи–драматизация диалогов,

в). Развитие навыка аудирования – умения воспринимать речь

учителя на слух и правильно реагировать.

5. Оборудование: компьютер с диском,классная доска,таблица с кроссвордом,

медицинские принадлежности–халат, шапочка,медикаменты.

Ход урока:

1.Организационный момент: Учитель сообщает тему урока: Today we*ll be

talking about our health and how to keep fit.

2. Фонетическая зарядка: Учащиеся повторяют стихотворение – Let*s repeat

the poem: «Your Cold is Getting Worse» - (звучит запись) –

Your cough is getting worse,

You ought to see the nurse.

Oh, no, I*m fine.

My cold is much better.

Your cough is getting worse,

You ought to see the nurse.

Oh, no, I*m fine,

My cough is much better.

Your cough sounds bad,

It doesn*t sound good.

You ought to see the nurse,

You really should !

1). Учащиеся повторяют стихотворение за диктором,

2). Затем повторяют хором при закрытых учебниках.

3. And now, children, please answer the questions – what should people do

If they have:

- if they have a headache,

- if they can*t sleep,

- if they have a toothache,

- if trhey have a pain in the heart,

- if they have a cold,

- if they have a stomachache.

(На доске таблица с лексикой в помощь учащимся:)

to go to the dentist, to call a doctor, to go to bed, to take some medicine, to have

a walk outdoors, to drink warm milk, to drink warm milk with honey and butter.

б).Say what kind of ache we can have (на доске слова: stomachache, toothache,

headache, backache, earache, eyeache, heartache)–Учитель называет по русски,

а учащиеся на английском названия видов боли.

Agree or Disagree:

1.When we have an earache or an eyeache we should go to the dentist–Answer–

With what pain can we go to the dentist?

2.When you have a sore throat you can go for a walk–(to stay at home, to take

a medicine, to take honey

with milk.)

3.You should eat the right food to keep fit +

4. If the doctor prescribes a medicine a medicine for you, you shouldn*t take it

regularly –

4.And now answer the questions:

Where should we go to buy some medicine, if a doctor prescribed some medi-

cine for us. What kind of place is it ? – (At the Chemist*s)

(So now let*s see what we should say and ask if we are at the chemist*s–Let*s

listen to the dialogues, you have prepared. а). Учащиеся повторяют свои диа-

логи по теме: «At the Chemist*s», б). Драматизация диалогов учащимися).

5. Now let*s see, if we fell ill, should we go to the doctor? What should a doctor

do and how should we act at the doctor*s?

Agree or disagree with me, if I*m wrong, correct me, please:

1.If I have a high blood pressure,a doctor will listen to my lungs and look into

my mouth first…-

What should a doctor do? (will feel pressure)

2.If I have a pain in my heart, a doctor will examine my legs…-(will listen to my

heart )

3.If I have a sore throat and a terrible cold, a doctor will prescribe to eat a lot of

Ice – cream…- (honey, milk)

4.If I have a cold,a doctor will take my temperature, feel my pulse,my blood pre-

ssure and will listen to my heart, my lungs and will look into my mouth to see

If I have a sore throat. +

6. Let*s see what you should do if you fell ill and came to a doctor and how your

doctor would examine you…

а). Учащиеся повторяют диалог «At the Doctor*s»

б). Драматизация диалогов учащимися.

7. Now the new stage of our today*s lesson.You will see the scene «The Doctor*s

Advice». Be very attentive, then you will answer the questions. Учащиеся либо

смотрят сценку, либо слушают запись – Упр. 54.

Questions:

1.

In what way did the doctor examine the patient?

2.

What was the doctor*s advice?

3.

How did the old gentleman look a month later?

4.

How did the old gentleman spend that month?

5.

Do you think the doctor was really a good doctor?

8. Учащиеся разгадывают кроссворд:

(на доске таблица с кроссвордом)

1).To force air from lungs with a sudden sound – (COUGH)

2). A soft white cheese – (COTTAGE)

3). To move food or drink dowm the throat from the mouth into the stomach-

(SWALLOW)

4). Products made from milk – (DAIRY)

5). The upper, front part of the body – (CHEST)

6). It*s what one usually should follow when he eats or drinks – (DIET)

7). The front part of the neck – (THROAT)

8). One of the two organs of breathing in the chest of a man and animals-

(LUNG)

9). An organ in the mouth used for tasting, swallowing or speaking and it*s

A movable organ – (TONGUE)

10). Product, made from milk – (CHEESE)

9. And now read the main words in the centre, they will show what is the most

thing every man should have !

Учащиеся зачитывают слова – «GOOD HEALTH».
