one of the most important

regions of the country. The

flora and fauna of Kuzbass is

unique, there are a lot of

plants and animals that are

listed in the Red book and are

on the brink of extinction.

places, which are called "the Six

wonders of the world" They are

Celestial teeth



Celestial Teeth Is one of the most

picturesque mountain areas in the

South of Kuznetsk Alatau near the city

of Mezhdurechensk. Here you can

enjoy typical Alpine views. The area of

the Celestial Teeth is very popular

with tourists who make summer hiking

and winter skiing trips. In the winter

season, skiers and snowboarders ride

here, and in the summer season,

athletes who swim in the rivers come

here.

Tomsk Pisanitsa



Here you can see the rock

paintings, the age of which is

thousands of years. There are

about three hundred drawings on

rocks where images of different

animals (such us a bear, a fox, a

wolf), birds, shamans and

mysterious signs are revealed. This

unusual Museum is often visited by

politicians, businessmen,

representatives of culture and

science who are in Kuzbass on

business visits.

The Kuznetsk fortess



The Kuznetsk fortress is a stone

fortress built in 1800-1820 by the order

of Emperor Paul I. The fortress has

never been used for military purposes

since its construction. Today Kuznetsk

fortress in Novokuznetsk is a

monument of history and architecture

of Federal importance and inside the

fortress there is a Museum.

Sculpture "Zolotaya Shoria"



Zolotaya Shoria is a huge bronze

sculpture located in the city of

Tashtagol. A graceful Shor beauty sits

on the neck of a majestic powerful

moose. The sculpture symbolizes the

connection of generations and it is a

symbol of the well-being of The

Mountain Shoria.

The Monument "Memory to miners

of Kuzbass"



The Monument "Memory to Kuzbass

Miners" is a bronze sculpture of Ernst

Neizvestny, installed on the right

Bank of the Tom river in Kemerovo.

The monument is a symbol of heroic

mining work and is dedicated to the

memory of the fallen miners of

Kuzbass.



Azasskaya cave

Azass cave is a cave located near

the village of Ust-Kabyrza. People

say there's Yeti living in this cave.
