. Квест «Pirates of the Caribbean» по теме Past simple tense

Цели мероприятия: повышать интерес к изучению английского языка, расширять

кругозор, воспитывать умение работать к команде.

Задачи мероприятия: повторить изученный лексический, грамматический и

страноведческий материал.

Участники: ученики 6го класса, одетые в пиратские костюмы (тельняшки, банданы,

повязки и т.д.).

Оборудование: смартдоска, ноутбук, колонки, презентация с названием игры и

заданиями, таблички с названиями команд (пиратских кораблей), пиратские карты,

карточки с заданиями, тематически оформленные грамоты для награждения команд.

Место проведения: актовый зал, украшенный в пиратской тематике (название

мероприятия, пиратский флаг, канаты сети и т.д.).

зашифрованные названия команд «Черная борода» и «Джек Воробей»)

выбирают карту, по которой пойдут за сокровищем. Для этого нужно выполнить

задания, каждое за определенное время. Задания у всех будут соответствовать

определенному острову, но в разном порядке. Кто первый выполнит задания и соберет

большее количество пиастров, тот и выиграл сокровище).

1.Most pirates were criminals who attacked ships at sea and brutally cracked down on the

crew. Sea robbers appeared about 4,000 years ago when the first merchant ships began to

sail in the Mediterranean. Since then, pirates have been operating in all seas. Especially they

plagued the sailors in the XVI-XVIII centuries. Some, like Blackbeard, attacked ships in

the Caribbean, others robbed ships in the Indian Ocean.

Pirates, as a rule, went to small fast and manoeuvrable ships with a shallow draft, which

could easily hide in small bays and coves. The guns were the main part of the combat

equipment of pirate ships. Large cannons fired heavy cannons, and smaller rotating cannons

shot with canister.
